2011 CPGA Championship

Just finished playing in the 2011 CPGA Championship at the Cottonwood Golf Club just outside Calgary. Being a Match-Play format, unfortunately I was pitted against my good friend Scott Dickson, Director of Golf at the Shaughnessy G&CC. We played a very even match but fortunately I was able to win by a 3&2 margin. Next up was the #2 seed in the tournament, Dave Levesque from Quebec. When I look back on the match in, which Dave won 4&3, I made a lot of poor decisions and my putting was way off. I learned about some areas in my game which need some improvement but overall it was a fun experience. I must thank my friends Bob and Debbie McGlenen for their absolute "Champion" effort in hosting myself and Scott Dickson for the week...much appreciated!!!!!!! jh

2nd @ Sandpiper

Played in my 2nd event on the Vancouver Golf Tour and shot a 4 under 68 to finish in a tie for 2nd with Nick Taylor. Bryn Parry won the event with a 66.

Winter Work in Arizona!

2011 Brad Garside Open @ Morgan Creek

Played in my 1st tournament of the year on Monday March 14th and shot a 67 to finish in 2nd place. I attribute my good round to some really good practice sessions I had down in Phoenix, Arizona.

2010 Golden Ears Invitational

Played in the Golden Ears Open this past weekend. Shot rounds of 69-70 (-5) to finish tied for 3rd with Bryn Parry. Canadian Tour Member Ryan Williams won with a 7 under par total.

A Good Caddie Makes A Big Difference!

I like having Jo caddie for me as she keeps me relaxed on the course. When I'm relaxed and having fun.....I usually play my best golf! We will be back at it at this weekends Golden Ears Open in Pitt Meadows.

Chilliwack Open 2010

I played well in this past weekends Chilliwack Open. I shot rounds of 71-68 (-3) to finish tied for 1st with Philip Jonas and Bryn Parry. Bryn won the event on the 1st play-off hole. I won a cheque for $1300.
